Blakely brings cross-industry experience in marketing, public relations and communications to AGCO
AGCO has named Bob Blakely as manager, public relations and channel communications. Blakely will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic public relations and publicity programs to support AGCO’s brand and product marketing efforts in North America.
Blakely has worked in marketing, media relations, communications, and government affairs roles for 21 years, including stints at Lanier Worldwide, MedQuist, and AllMeds. During his career, he has been responsible for building marketing teams and communications resources, working with trade associations to promote industry needs, and spearheading national campaigns to increase awareness and understanding of federal programs and regulations.
Blakely holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Auburn University and completed graduate studies at Wake Forest University.
