Hardi Updates Their Navigator Boom Sprayers Lineup

The 2021 Hardi Navigator includes cosmetic updates with grey shields and some components painted black. One notable update is the proven DynamicFluid4 regulation system.

DF4 software calculates the consequences of changing field conditions and anticipates regulation changes instantly based on four sensor inputs, pump RPM, speed, flow, and pressure. With sensor redundancy built-in, regulation can continue even in the event of a failure. DF4 will allow the 2021 Navigator to achieve faster response times and increased application precision.

Lastly, the Navigator with EAGLE SPC booms sizes 80’ – 100’ now offer 4 degrees of negative tilt.

The Liquid System: DynamicFluid4

The Navigator’s fluid system (DynamicFluid4) employs advanced fluid dynamics and application rate control to deliver fast response and accurate target rate application. Pressure, flow, pump speed, forward speed, boom sections, and application rate are monitored and processed using advanced computations. The DynamicFluid4 processor analyses the spraying data 20 times a second and provides pre-emptive rate control capability, altering the pump speed with pinpoint precision.

The proportional hydraulics used to control the pump speed are highly accurate and smooth but incredibly fast.

The liquid system can be operated from the cabin or from the ground.

Navigator: the Obvious Choice

Navigator is synonymous with high quality and design which supports functionality. Properties that secure the value for money and ease of use. In the Hardi trailer family, Navigator offers features from mid-size to full specification solutions.

The large range of high-quality features makes the Navigator the obvious choice. Demands for simple and reliable solutions, serviceability, and high capacity are universal world-wide. The product represents Hardi’s experience as a sprayer specialist. The proven success for Navigator sprayers since the introduction has shown the value of this position.

Boom management system

The Hardi AutoHeight and AutoTerrain systems will automatically control the boom Which makes the job much easier for the driver, and the result will be a better spray application.

The system is known for the following features:

  • Robust and precise ultrasonic sensors
  • Option to choose between soil, crop, or hybrid mode
  • Proportional valve for smooth movements (AutoHeight, AutoTerrain)
  • Tilt and height correction (AutoHeight, AutoTerrain)
  • AutoTerrain works and reacts on both boom movements and twisting forces on the boom. This allows the system to be proactive and react to the cause more than to the symptom.

Delta Force boom – Compact in transport – wide in the field

Delta Force is designed to be a large boom. The selection of features and the layout of the boom structure are targeted to perform at high driving speed and high performance at boom widths of 90 – 132 ft. The result is a boom with many simple and strong solutions which together give a high-performing and reliable boom with a simple setup, low maintenance, and a great design.

A very advanced, but yet simple center part controls the movements of the Delta Force boom. The five pendulum settings allow adjusting the boom performance, either to a pendulum, which follows the sprayer movements, or to follow the level of the terrain.
