Brandt has promoted Tim Greer to the manager of its retail plant in Ashland, Illinois. Greer assumes command from Bill Garver, a legendary Brandt employee, who is retiring after 33 years of service.
Greer, who transitioned into managing daily operations at the Ashland plant in 2021, will also oversee locations in Pleasant Plains and Virginia, IL. His leadership and experience—along with Ashland’s veteran staff—promises continued excellent customer service to the farmers Brandt serves.
“Tim established himself as a leader when he came on board in early 2020. His deep experience, coupled with the veteran leadership of Bill Garver, has made this a seamless transition for our customers and employees. I’m excited about how Tim will grow the business and find new ways to serve our growers,”
said John Allen, VP of Brandt Agronomic Services.
“Tim has big shoes to fill: Bill Garver is absolutely one of a kind and he set the bar for what a Brandt plant manager should be. While he was always quick with a story, he was even faster with good advice and sage farming practices. We wish him nothing but happiness and rounds under par in his retirement.”
continued Allen.
