Bobcat announces winner of a compact loader and a front-end loader

Bobcat Company, in partnership with Meredith Agrimedia, announced Lanora Kristine McCaskill of Cantonment, Florida, is the winner of a Bobcat CT2025 compact tractor and front-end loader as part of the Meredith Agrimedia Reboot Your Acreage Contest. To enter the contest, readers of the Meredith Agrimedia brands had to tell the magazine about a project on their property that the Bobcat CT2025 could help them tackle. Kristine’s entry was selected from more than 2,800 entries, sharing how the compact tractor could help bring projects on her property to life.

Kristine said:

“I have 16 acres that my husband and I used to be able to maintain, then he got sick, and after a long battle, passed away last year. The trees have come up and have been growing for almost 10 years. I had to sell our tractor to help pay for medical expenses.”

Since her husband’s passing, Kristine hasn’t been able to maintain the property to her standards. She wrote in her contest entry that she needed a compact tractor to clean up brush, restore her pasture, repair a large fishpond, and reconfigure the property’s fencing. But she also had a bigger project wish list: to have a beautiful gazebo built next to the pond along with a nice fire pit and the outdoor cooking area built for her family to enjoy.

Bobcat Company and Meredith Agrimedia teamed up with Bobcat of Pensacola to deliver the CT2025 to Kristine. She plans to start checking off her to-do list right away to restore the property to its original condition with acres of sunflowers, a garden, a wildlife habitat, and potentially some farm animals again in the future.

Kristine said:

“My Bobcat tractor will help me maintain my property, fix it up like I would like to have it looking. I won’t have to ask anybody to come help. I’ll just be able to get out there, get on my tractor and do it myself. Every Saturday I’ll be out there on it. It’s really going to change my life and the way we live out here on this property.”

The 25-hp CT2025 awarded to Kristine features a hydrostatic transmission, four-wheel drive, power steering, a Category 1 three-point hitch, and rear PTO. It comes with a factory-installed, quick-attach front-end loader that includes a hose kit, bucket level indicator, grille guard, and mounting kit. Additional features include a rollover protective structure, work lights, ergonomic controls, suspension seat, and low-noise engine. The CT2025 offers high ground clearance to help maneuver over rough ground and a tight turning radius for working in small spaces or around obstacles. The prize is valued at more than $20,000.

Angie Ryan, a compact tractor marketing manager at Bobcat Company, said:

“As the global leader in compact equipment, we’re proud to be able to provide a compact tractor and front-end loader to someone who can use the machine in a variety of ways. Kristine is a fine example of an individual who will be able to use this machine to help restore her 16-acre property back to its original condition. We’re excited that we can help Kristine accomplish more on her property.”
