GK Shade Trailers are in compliance with new Oregon workplace regulations for extreme heat. The trailers offer excellent worker protection for the prevention of heat illness and stress. The folding shade top collapses for transport to travel from location to location. The deluxe trailer provides seating for up to 8 people, has a built-in garbage can, wood decking, and standard 2” ball hitch. It also includes space for coolers to provide plenty of water for outdoor and field workers.

Another new product is the GK Irrigation Pipe Trailers. With two styles to choose from, single or dual beam construction. The new irrigation pipe trailer is designed for the rugged conditions of the Pacific NW. This heavy-duty pipe trailer is powder-coated for extra durability. One optional accessory is an attached tool basket for carrying tools and supplies, and it bolts on for easy assembly.

A body that combines the good properties of a dump truck for fieldwork and the positive features of heavy-duty bodies from the construction sector would therefore be ideal. It is precisely this all-around vehicle that Fliegl created with the new TMK 266 S PROFI.

In order to be able to combine these requirements in one vehicle, Fliegl relies on extremely
high-quality material and a large loading capacity at the same time. The halfpipe body is
made of the fine-grain steel S700MC, which promises a high strength potential with
simultaneous weight savings.

The body is built on a tandem axle chassis with a painted frame and has a permissible total weight of a maximum of 22,000 kg. A hydraulically sprung towing device ensures improved driving comfort and convenient adjustment of the trailer height depending on the requirements of the towing vehicle. With the optional body side extension of 500 mm, the volume of the trailer is increased by approx. 8 m³ to approximately 33.0 m³.

The maneuverability is particularly important in the transport of heavy goods and so you
can elegantly get around every corner with the optional forced steering. The possibility of
forced steering increases driving safety considerably as the body runs smoothly behind
the tractor and can be easily controlled at any time, even when there are sudden changes
of direction or cornering.

Also to be emphasized is the better slope stability, which plays a major role, for example in gravel pits with greasy surface soil on slight hills. The Gigant Plus JUMBO axle unit which is installed as standard provides a high level of stability and a significant increase in driving comfort. In this chassis, springs are installed underneath the axles which ideally dampen vibrations and ensure that the vehicle has a low center of gravity.

So in a nutshell, perfect and coordinated equipment for the field. To ensure that the highly equipped application tanker does not lose too much time, impact power, and thus money on the road in the case of longer farm-to-field distances, the slurry transport must be decoupled.

For this purpose, Fliegl offers the perfect vehicle for your slurry logistics with its new three-axle semi-trailer transport barrel STF 30000 Truck Line Top. Due to the special tank and chassis design, an unladen weight of approx. 5,900 kg can be achieved with high-standard equipment at the same time!

Due to the low dead weight, a volume of 30,000 liters can be transported in the stainless steel tank, while complying with the permissible total mass (depending on the tractor). The special tank design and the frame made of fine-grained steel contribute to the center of gravity that is shifted far down. Thanks to the stainless steel tank with an additional paint finish on the outside, a very long service life can be guaranteed.

Important with a transport tanker is on the one hand the driving and operating comfort, but also the maneuverability on the farm and in the field. The air suspension unit with disc brakes ensures high driving comfort and is equipped with an automatically lockable steering axle and a lift axle as standard. Less wear – more maneuverability!

To ensure that the saddle transport tanker does not lose unnecessary time during loading and unloading, various equipment variants are offered for this purpose. Externally, the tanker can be filled via the large-dimensioned 700 x 700 mm push cover. The filling of the application drum can be done via an 8″ or 10″ docking hopper at the top or via a suction quick coupler at the bottom at the rear.

Of course, the tanker can also fill itself; for this purpose, a powerful 6,000 L Vogelsang rotary lobe pump with a 180° swiveling 6″ quick-coupler connection at the rear is available as an option.

The fill level can always be conveniently checked via the display at the front and rear of the container. In the version with the pump, a fill level monitor and an automatic pump shutoff are integrated for safety.

A swiveling 6″ overloading arm with a length of 7,000mm is optionally available for overloading onto a spreading tanker, a field edge container, or for slurry transfer. This length means that even wide ditches can be negotiated, which is an important plus point, especially on dirt roads. The transfer arm is controlled via an external operation or via an optional radio remote control.

To ensure that the liquid fertilizer is still homogeneous at its destination, a hydraulic internal agitator or a flushing line is offered in conjunction with the rotary lobe pump.

The 845-HD design features all-new heavier, taller cross members in addition to pullout extensions with an increased capacity of over 50% resulting in 14,000 lbs. capacity for each pullout.

The 845-HD-AG trailer is designed for expandability with a third flip axle or gooseneck front flip extension options. The operator can haul heavy haul permit loads where required. The 845 is also for dealers that have a need to haul some heavy construction loads with the same trailer.

The drop-side trailer option features a 5” lowered track area and a raised center. This specialty option benefits end users that are hauling tall excavators, cranes, or vehicles that must obtain the very lowest deck height possible.

Ktwo saw an opportunity in the North American market for strong high-quality agriculture trailers after being approached by several companies across America and Canada in early 2020. They needed a manufacturer with the capacity and experience to fulfill their need for strong, large silage trailers to hold volumes up to 75m3.

Ktwo developed their popular Ktwo Roadeo Curve Trailers and increased the width from 2.5m to 3.2m wide specifically for North America in the summer. The largest Roadeo Curve Trailer being developed has four axles and two steering axles to cope with the larger size and capacity.

Along with their large tipping trailers, Ktwo already has examples of their UK leading Roadeo Compact and Push trailers operating in North America and they have developed a greater range of their manure spreaders. Their larger spreader range includes tandem axle horizontal and vertical beater machines which are being well received across America and Canada.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for more functional hand-washing stations, GK Machine has designed and created standalone hand-washing stations that are perfect for outdoor venues (farmer markets, nurseries, pumpkin patches, etc.).

GK Machine recently created a custom portable multi-faucet wash station for an existing agricultural customer for his work crew in the field. The custom portable wash station holds over 175 gallons of freshwater and is mounted on a trailer that can be easily transported to various locations as needed for work crews.

The floor chains in muck spreaders convey the material towards the rotors and require a constant and even feed to ensure all the load is spread accurately. All leading manufactures now use heavy-duty, mining conveyor chain systems which are far superior to the early lightweight, flat link agricultural chain systems of the past.

Traditionally the market saw larger “trailer type” 2m wide muck spreaders designed using single floor chain systems, but when a large amount of material was tipped into them it did not support the floor well and it would bow and eventually stove in, impinging the conveyor system. The twin floor chain system naturally gives a more robust floor slat, but permits support to the center of the spreader floor.

Ktwo muck spreaders have a flared body throughout which gives an increased volume capacity but also allows a stronger floor design. By starting to taper from the floor, the innovative design acts as a funnel to help move materials down to the chains increasing volume and allowing for easier emptying with less bridging. Even with the central gap between the two chain systems, the nature of the manure itself ensures complete emptying of the spreader.

Ashley Knibb, Ktwo Senior Design Engineer explains:

“A single chain is a simple system that allows for easier slat bending and requires a bigger and more clumsy chain to achieve the required pulling capacity. And suffers from inherently more chain wear on the gearbox drive side”,

As observed over the years by Stewart Freeman Ktwo Service and Parts Manager.

“Spreading the load” across a twin system with four chains and two runs of slats means it is not imposing such a big load onto the slats, a smaller more compact chain can be used and the floor is supported better.

With the exception of the Ktwo Bio which has more slats to give a very accurate rotor feed, Ktwo models have staggered chains to further help feed the rotors and ensure an even output and accurate coverage of the looser, lighter product, which is especially noticeable when spreading high-value materials such as lime with the use of the slurry door to meter the load.

Ktwo muck spreaders include a sprocketed front roller with integral cleaning scrapers. This gives positive engagement with the chain ensuring the chains remain timed and aligned, with a consistent flow of material and preventing the chain derailing should a foreign object get into the drive roller, thus every slat bending if one should fail.

Another consideration is the difference between the use of a bearing or composite bush. Ktwo has always fitted high-quality ball flange bearings which are self-aligning allowing accurate individual chain tension and high-pressure bearings which are much more resilient to wear out. The composite bush produces resistance with its thin wall and its friction contact when under heavy load, unlike the ball flange bearing which eliminates this.

“A single slat system has a no-tool change design. These are a loose fit and then wear and become covered in the product and corrode. This system also eventually corrodes solid. AGCO Corporation announces a new family of premium compact tractors ― the Massey Ferguson 1800M and 2800M Series, with five models ranging from 35 to 60 engine horsepower. These new 4-wheel-drive tractors build on Massey Ferguson’s reputation for nimble, versatile, and reliable performance with new, advanced Iseki engines, styling, and design updates, as well as comfort and convenience enhancements. The new 1800M and 2800M Series replace the 1700M Series compact tractors and are offered in both factory-installed cab and open-station ROPS models.

Featuring 1.83-liter, 3-cylinder Iseki diesel engines, the 1800M Series tractors are available in two models with 36.2 or 39.4 engine horsepower. The 2800M Series offers three 2.43-liter, 4-cylinder Iseki-powered models, from 48.8 to 60.3 engine horsepower. These engines are turbocharged for responsive power, liquid-cooled for increased durability, and standard-equipped with glow plugs for fast, reliable starting in frigid temperatures. Choice of rugged gear or smooth hydrostatic transmissions

The M Series premium compacts are standard-equipped with the popular 12×12 power shuttle-shift transmission. This rugged mechanical-gear transmission provides a broad range of working and transport speeds. It’s ideal for jobs such as mowing or rotary tilling, where consistent working speeds must be maintained. And with the forward/reverse shuttle shift, no clutching is required. Located conveniently on the steering column, the power shuttle control lever provides smooth, easy direction changes ― ideal for loader work.

An optional 3-range hydrostatic transmission is also available. Simple, intuitive, and easy to operate, it allows the operator to reach the speed needed for the job within each range without shifting gears. Dual foot-pedal controls make for quick and easy forward/reverse direction changes. Cruise control allows operators to set and maintain their preferred working or transport speed.

Premium comfort, convenience, and control

The M Series compact tractors are available in both cab and open-station configurations. Along with tilt-steering and a flat, unobstructed platform, the open-station ROPS models now come with a new premium seat, providing greater support and comfort, which operators appreciate when working in rough conditions or over uneven terrain. A new thumb-controlled throttle ― also available on cab models ― lets operators quickly dial in the right engine rpm.

The standard cab models feature dual lockable, entry/exit doors, tilt steering, and heating/air conditioning. An optional Deluxe Cab package is also available. Designed for high-hour users wanting greater comfort, convenience, and less fatigue during long hours in the field or on the job site, the Deluxe Cab includes an air-ride seat, bright LED work lights, Bluetooth-ready radio with CD player, rear windshield defrost, and a handy pull-down sun visor.

High-output, high-performance hydraulics

New M Series compact tractors offer up to 12.6 GPM hydraulic output, one of the highest in the compact class. The high-output system provides more responsive power at low engine speeds, allowing operators to throttle-back to reduce noise while maintaining full steering and implement the function.

All M Series compact tractors are standard-equipped with 540 rpm independent power takeoff (PTO), electro-hydraulic controlled for smooth engagement. A handy push-button switch mounted on the rear fender lets an operator engage or disengage the rear PTO from ground level, outside of the cab or operator platform. An optional 2,000-rpm mid-mount PTO also features electro-hydraulic engagement with the simple twist of a knob.

The 1835M, 1840M, and 2850M Models offer a Cat. I rear a 3-point hitch, while the 2855M and 2860M models are equipped with Cat. I and II 3-point hitch with 3,086-lb. lift capacity, providing compatibility with a wider range of attachments. M Series compact tractors can be equipped with dozens of implements and attachments, including the new Massey Ferguson FL Series loaders, CB backhoes, and front-mounted snow blowers.
