Unveiled with a preview at Agritechnica 2023 in Hanover, the New Holland CR11 is the next-generation flagship combine that takes the legacy of the flagship CR line.

New Holland CR11 has been redeveloped to provide higher productivity, with minimal grain loss, improved residue management, and more automation. It will be produced at New Holland’s Center of Harvesting Excellence in Zedelgem, Belgium.

The New Holland CR11 has a new design developed through a collaboration between CNH Design and Engineering teams, product specialists, and brand marketing. The design is focused on customer needs and features a dynamic blue feature that runs across the body.

New Holland T4 Electric Power Tractor

New Holland T4 Electric Power all-electric utility tractor is the first and unique in the industry and represents New Holland and CNH’s most recent development in their strategic plan for electrification. As a BEV – Battery Electric Vehicle fully battery-powered, it is the first zero-emission light utility tractor with no internal combustion engine.

The T4 Electric Power joins the New Holland T7 Methane Power LNG and T6 Methane Power tractors building a full-liner portfolio of zero-carbon tractor solutions.

For farmers looking to cover more acres in less time, the AF11 sets the bar in maximizing time in the field. To maximize the capacity of the AF11, Case IH is introducing the C516 corn head, which offers improved performance with a clean solution.

When paired with an Axial-Flow combine, like the AF11, this durable corn head will deliver maximized capacity and throughput.”

The C516 corn head is designed with runtime in mind. It boasts the largest cross drill in the industry for maximized throughput, independent drive lines that allow for row-unit protection, and overall weight reduction for improved flotation and reduced soil compaction. The C516 corn head and AF11 will be available only in North America.

For the model year 2025, Case IH has introduced the Quadtrac Heavy-Duty Suspension (HDS). The HDS system is optional and offers faster transport speeds of up to 26.5 mph. Additionally, the fully suspended track system conforms to the ground surface, which reduces the shock transmitted to the machine and operator. This helps to ensure a comfortable and safe ride.

At the Commodity Classic in Houston, Texas, a range of new models were unveiled that offer reduced maintenance and improved seeding accuracy across various capacities and configurations.

John Deere Production Systems Manager, Ben Kelly, said operations of all sizes would benefit from the new air cart technologies and multiple machine formats.

 Reduced maintenance costs with new corrosion-resistant AccuRate meters

The C-Series air carts feature AccuRate electric meters, constructed of stainless steel and composite materials, creating a corrosion- and wear-resistant system that stands up to seed treatments and abrasive granular fertilisers, to deliver a marked saving on meter maintenance costs.

The new AccuRate meter bank contains up to eight individually controlled meters per tank. With the ability to change the speed and volume of each meter, customers can now run higher-resolution prescriptions and can change the rate of product by each meter, allowing up to eight times more precise seed metering.

“Meanwhile, Curve Compensation gives the ability to slow an inside meter down for the inside-of-a-turn and speed the outside meter up for the outside-of-a-turn, leading to consistent rate delivery across the entire drill as you seed around trees and curves.

The individually controlled meters also can stop each meter rotating instead of only closing the gate, which eliminates the potential for seed damage and seed dumping when turning on and off sections.”

Save time and effort with new calibration and blower automation

To help growers make the most of short seeding windows, the C-Series air carts feature two calibration features – the new industry-exclusive EZCal system and the trusted ActiveCal.

The EZCal system is a push-button calibration process that is completed before seeding and is now up to 75% faster than the previous manual bag process. It can save more than 100 walking steps and eliminates the need to crawl under the cart during calibration, while ActiveCal ensures the meters remain calibrated throughout the day if product properties vary whilst you’re seeding.

In addition, all new C-Series carts feature blower automation whereby the operator can set a target blower speed from the cab, ensuring consistent airflow as conditions change throughout the day.

“The value of EZCal is getting you in the field faster with an accurate calibration starting point.

This is complemented by ActiveCal which allows you to calibrate throughout the day from the cab as conditions or product density change. You don’t need to worry about over- or under-metering.

This level of automation reduces fatigue by allowing the operator to focus on the seeding task at hand, so that a quality job can be completed every time, regardless of operator experience.”

The C-Series carts under 20,000L are completely new with big features

The needs of producers who require efficiency and productivity in smaller air carts have also been catered for in the new C-Series line.

The under 20,000L air carts feature the same meters, tank scales and calibration system as their larger counterparts, with the additions of a low-profile hopper with more than double the filling space of current models; a new conveyor/auger that allows the hopper to stay in one spot while filling all four tanks and fills up to 75% faster than the current conveyor; and the G5e cart-side display that reduces calibration time by eliminating trips between the tractor cab and the cart.
