<p>In addition, John Deere announced today that coming this May it will expand its offerings by giving customers and independent repair shops in the U.S. the ability to purchase Customer Service ADVISOR directly through JohnDeereStore.com.</p>

Customer Service ADVISOR has been available through John Deere dealerships, enabling customers to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair their own equipment. With the ability to purchase directly from John Deere, equipment owners and independent repair shops will have expanded access to Customer Service ADVISOR, in addition to existing access to replacement parts to complete needed repairs.</p>

<p>With <strong>ZXLink</strong>, Hitachi customers can access valuable fleet insights including machine location and utilization, time in idle, fuel level, upcoming maintenance, machine alerts, and more, all from a web or mobile platform. Likewise, system data from the recently announced factory-integrated Hitachi Solution Linkage 2D and 3D Grade Control works with ZXLink for analysis – further enabling operators, fleet managers, and owners to keep projects on track.</p>
<p>ZXLink can also be leveraged with Hitachi’s ZX Secure service plan, in which the dealer monitors machine status and coordinates with the customer to schedule maintenance in a timely manner to help keep machines running at peak performance.</p>
<p>Hitachi’s ZXLink connectivity is available on most Hitachi excavators and foresters in the United States and Canada. The specific services, tools, and features available may vary depending on location and machines.</p>

In order to achieve that vision, we must take into account both our own operations as well as our customers’ operations, working to provide them with sustainable solutions that fit their unique goals,”</p></blockquote>
<p>said <strong>Fabian Bernal, recently appointed Head of Sustainability for DeLaval Group</strong>.</p>
<p>In the report, DeLaval shares progress toward <strong>improving sustainability for its dairy producer customers.</strong> These include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Reducing the environmental impact of every liter/pound of milk produced through the development of safe solutions that improve efficiency and milk yield with animal welfare in mind</li>
<li>Continuing to improve on-farm sustainability through efficient innovations, such as automated milking and feeding systems, better and gentler liners that improve milk extraction and animal welfare, reduced-temperature system cleaning solutions, and more</li>
<li>Focus on farm profitability for customers – as farms produce more milk per animal, they have a lower environmental footprint and are more economically sustainable</li>
<li>Ensuring animal welfare is at the center of new innovations – healthy animals require less medical intervention, produce higher quality and volumes of milk for more years</li>
</ul>
<p>DeLaval has achieved the following <strong>improvements toward their vision of increasing sustainability in production</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Decreased waste by 4% and volatile organic compounds by 10%</li>
<li>Water use decreased 2% despite an increase in sales volume</li>
<li>Decreased lost time accident rate from 4.34 in 2019 to 3.61 in 2020</li>
<li>Staff turnover decreased to 12%</li>
<li>Increased percentage of female leaders to 23%</li>
<li>Commitment to establishing a diverse and inclusive workplace through new initiatives: unconscious bias training, updated recruitment policy, and working with third-party groups focused on gender diversity</li>
<li>Adapted to the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic by placing employee health and wellbeing as the top priority. Supported employees in setting up work-from-home stations, held COVID-19 safety educational sessions, and had frequent stress and mental health check-ins; all while all key functions continued operating to serve customers.</li>
</ul>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Freedom of choice is nice, but at times it can also be complicated. <span style="background-color: #00ff00;"><strong>Valtra</strong> tractors offer dozens and even hundreds of different accessories and options to choose from, and they all add up to millions of different combinations</span>.</p>
<p>Valtra now wants to help customers tailor their tractors. While customers still have complete freedom to specify their tractors any way they like, we are now offering ready equipment packages to make their choices a little easier. In addition to the basic level, we offer the following equipment packages:</p>
<ul>
<li>Comfort</li>
<li>Technology</li>
<li>Technology Pro</li>
</ul>
<p>As its name suggests, the Comfort package includes specifications that enhance comforts, such as cab and front axle suspension and a better driver’s seat. The Technology package includes everything in the Comfort package plus precision farming features, such as Valtra Guide automated steering and ISOBUS implement management. <span style="background-color: #00ff00;">The Technology Pro package includes all of the above plus even more precision farming features, such as a SmartTouch Extend auxiliary display</span>.</p>
<p>The new equipment packages make it easier to specify a new tractor: nothing important is left out and the resale price of the tractor is also taken into account. When purchased as a package, the equipment is less expensive than when ordered separately. In addition, the delivery time for a tractor with a standardized equipment package is often shorter than for a fully tailored one. In fact, it is even possible that a suitable tractor can even be found already in stock at a dealer or importer. And best of all, the equipment packages do not in any way prevent customers from selecting additional features, such as a front loader or something truly unique from the Unlimited Studio.</p>

<h3>Will complete in-progress work to focus solely on meeting the demand for liquid and encapsulated lysine products</h3>
<p><strong>ADM</strong> announced it will end the production of <strong>dry lysine</strong> in the <strong>first half of 2021</strong>, focusing solely on customer needs for liquid and encapsulated lysine products.</p>
<p>Pierre <strong>Joseph Paoli</strong>, <strong>president</strong>, <strong>Feed Ingredients and Additives</strong>, said:</p>
<blockquote class="td_quote_box td_box_center"><p>&#8220;Animal nutrition is a growing and evolving industry, and as a global leader in this space, we&#8217;re proud to meet customer needs with modern, innovative products. We&#8217;re seeing good growth from existing and new customers, and we&#8217;ve received great feedback as we&#8217;ve worked closely with producers to transition them to our liquid lysine products and delivery systems, as well as to our innovative new encapsulated lysine products. Simultaneously, market conditions for dry lysine have eroded, as global industry capacity has expanded faster than demand. We are pleased to continue to invest to serve our customers with cutting-edge ingredients and services, while simultaneously refocusing and strengthening this segment of our Animal Nutrition business portfolio.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Throughout 2020, ADM has been working closely with swine and poultry feed producers to transition to liquid lysine, installing equipment in their plants and providing them with superior service through the company&#8217;s Online Inventory Management System. <span style="background-color: #00ff00;">In addition, the company continues to introduce new, highly effective differentiated solutions for dairy cows, including NutriPass L, a market-leading encapsulated lysine product that delivers a consistent supply of metabolized lysine to the animal</span>. The company will continue working with customers to ensure a seamless transition within its product portfolio before ending production of dry lysine.</p>
<p>Lysine is an essential amino acid in nutrition. It is used to address the nutrient requirements of the animal and improve production performance for producers to deliver milk, meat, and eggs to consumers.</p>
