Seth Crawford has joined the senior team in the new role of Senior Vice President, Precision Ag and Digital to reinforce AGCO’s commitment to delivering industry-leading, smart farming solutions. Following a successful, 22-year tenure at Deere & Company, Mr. Crawford joined AGCO in 2019 to lead its Fuse Connected Services and Technology division.

Additionally, other members of the senior team will assume worldwide responsibility for AGCO’s core brands to maximize brand value in each of their regional target markets. Torsten Dehner will be the Senior Vice President responsible for the Fendt, Valtra and Challenger brands; Luis Felli will be the Senior Vice President responsible for the Massey Ferguson brand.

Kelvin Bennett has also joined the senior team in the role of Senior Vice President, Engineering following the retirement of Dr. Helmut Endres. Mr. Bennett has held numerous global engineering leadership roles throughout his 14-year tenure at AGCO. Tiffany Snyder, Vice President of Strategy & Transformation, has also joined the senior team to fortify AGCO’s strategy development and execution practices. Ms. Snyder joined AGCO in early 2020 following a successful, 25-year career at Cargill, Inc.

Ochsner comes to Claas North America with an extensive background in executive retail management. He has gained a reputation for developing effective strategic business and sales initiatives that have driven market share expansion and dealer profitability. He has spent the bulk of his career with companies such as RDO Equipment Company, Columbia Tractor Inc., Bushel Inc., and Titan Machinery Inc.

Magnusson explained:

“Over the last ten years, Claas has augmented our North American sales channel with a select number of company-owned, locally operated retail locations where a suitable dealership couldn’t be found. We’re very excited to have Mr. Ochsner overseeing the development and growth of such a critical part of our business.”

Ochsner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with a minor in economics, from Northern State University, Aberdeen, South Dakota. His extensive experience, education, and background will be key assets in his new position and will serve him well as he joins the Claas of America Management Team.

JCB construction equipment dealer, SoCal JCB, has opened its newest dealer location at 14675 Valley Boulevard in Fontana, California. The 1.5-acre facility is the new headquarters for SoCal JCB and includes product display and demonstration areas, three service bays and a modern office environment.
