Laybourn will bring his more than 20 years’ experience in commercial, industrial, agriculture, and landscaping sales to focus on the development of the enterprise strategy, along with managing the Fortune 500 customers of ETwater.

Before joining Jain Irrigation, Laybourn was at Olson Irrigation where he was responsible for the go-to-market of an automatic self-cleaning water filter for agriculture. Prior to Olson, he worked at Rain Bird in field sales and product management that included being named on two U.S. patents for drip irrigation. Laybourn said:

“Agriculture is where I learned about ET (evapotranspiration) and how valuable it is, not only for saving water but also for the best plant health. I look forward to sharing this and other insights with the Enterprise about ETwater technology, which should be their basis for making investments in smart irrigation that deliver financial payback and a return on investment that is often much better than the owner’s core business.”

Dave Laybourn has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

Tranchina is an experienced sales professional with previous experience in the manufacturing equipment industry. She spent the last five years as the western regional sales manager for Hardinge Inc., where she sold application-specific manufacturing equipment directly and through distribution.

Tranchina holds a degree from San Francisco State University. She is a member of the American Management Association, through which she holds several professional certificates including Strategic Sales and Contract Negotiations; and Women in Leadership and Management. She is also a member of Women in Manufacturing, a trade association dedicated to providing support to women in the manufacturing industry.

Tranchina is based out of her home office in Newport Beach, California, and will report to Western Global’s U.S. headquarters in Troy, Michigan.

Henrik Haubro Kjøbsted has joined the team as a new Export Manager and will be responsible for the development and growth of our business relations in the following markets: Benelux, France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. Henrik has a background in international sales and logistics. He was raised in France but now lives with his girlfriend in Thisted, Denmark.

Timo Gröning has also joined our team as our new Export Manager responsible for our inground lifts in Germany and Southern Europe. Timo is business trained, has a bachelor’s degree in trade and commerce, and many years of experience as a Key Account Manager in the automotive industry. He lives with his wife and 2 children near Frankfurt.

Patrick Dubois is our new Business Development Manager for the US and Canadian markets. Patrick has a background in mechanical engineering and has worked with sales and market development in our industry throughout his whole career. He lives near Montreal, Canada with his wife and 3 children.

The newest team members will, of course, be contacting their respective partners and customers directly.

Al will be responsible for the development and growth of our business within Ontario and throughout the Mid-Atlantic U.S.A. Al makes a great addition to Holder.
