After more than 16 years at the head of PRINOTH, Werner Amort will hand over the presidency of the Prinoth Group in the middle of June 2020.

Werner Amort had been active at LEITNER’s since 1991 and took over leadership of the PRINOTH Group from Michael Seeber in 2004. A few years previously, in the year 2000 and looking towards the future, Michael Seeber had purchased the PRINOTH company, originally based in Gröden, and achieved sustainable growth. In his leadership, Werner Amort significantly boosted not only strategic expansion and diversification in the areas of tracked vehicles and vegetation management, but also continued new and further development of the product portfolio.

“As far as I am concerned, it has been a great joy to be able to take part in this success story, whether as the HTI Group or as the PRINOTH Group. I can only say, ‘Thank you.’ Thank you to all those who gave me this opportunity. Thank you to all my colleagues, staff, partners, customers and friends who have made their contributions over all these years,”

said Werner Amort.

Klaus Tonhäuser has taken over the management of the PRINOTH Group from June 2020. He has already made a name for himself, firstly as Director of Rosenbauer (the largest manufacturer worldwide of fire engines), and latterly as Director of Poloplast. In his new position as President of PRINOTH, he will be supported by board members Horst Haller (CEO of the snow groomer division) and Alessandro Ferrari (CEO of the tracked vehicles and vegetation management divisions).

Werner Amort will continue to support the company and will succeed Michael Seeber in his function as Chairman of the PRINOTH Advisory Board.

During CONEXPO from 10th to 14th of March 2020 in Las Vegas, Prinoth will be exhibiting numerous models and talk about many of the applications where its products are used on the right-of-way and in many other situations.

Prinoth is quickly growing and becoming the go-to-brand of crawler carriers. With the introduction of the PANTHER T14R in 2016, Prinoth has created new markets for its products whilst developing a strong dealer network. In the Spring of 2019, the PANTHER T7R was introduced as the first crawler carrier with a Stage V engine and the crawler carrier which offers operators the best visibility for both their safety and Jobsite workers’ safety and also for Jobsite workers nearby. U.S. Patent 10,407,112 protects a vehicle chassis with an upper portion supporting a cab and mounted onto a lower portion that extends behind the cab to support work equipment. The RAD (Rapid Attachment Design) chassis is a unique innovation that raises the bar in the industry in terms of productivity for customers in the power utility sector, and it allows them to save precious time with their equipment installation as well as lowering the overall center of gravity of the unit. Finally, this patented technical solution minimizes the total vehicle’s height to ease transportation from one jobsite to the next.
