Daimler Truck is developing a scalable autonomous truck platform that is perfectly suited for SAE Level 4 autonomous driving, including redundancy systems needed to achieve safe and reliable operations. The four key areas with a redundant architecture are the braking system, the steering system, the low voltage power net, and the network communications. In case that any of the primary systems encounter a fault, the Level 4 vehicle will be able to monitor, assess and deploy its backup systems to control the truck safely.

Daimler Truck’s L4 truck platform is based on Freightliner’s market-leading Cascadia and aims to set new industry standards. The unique redundant truck chassis is being developed for Waymo Via based on their specifications. A first version of the truck has already been delivered this year for integration of the Waymo Driver, the autonomous driving system. If a fault is deemed critical to the operation of the vehicle, the autonomous driving system will allow the truck to follow a safety protocol and be able to execute a “minimal risk maneuver” to come to a safe stop.

Dr. Peter Vaughan Schmidt, Head of Autonomous Technology Group at Daimler Truck:

“Every smart autonomous driving system needs a strong foundation: our Level 4 vehicle platform based on the Freightliner Cascadia is ideal for the integration of autonomous software, hardware, and computing. It can significantly contribute to enhancing safety in traffic thanks to its redundancy of systems and a multitude of sensors. It brings us much closer to our vision of accident-free driving.”

The redundant system architecture

More than 1500 new and unique requirements have been identified by Waymo Via. The engineering team at Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) is developing and implementing these requirements during the vehicle development process. For example, while today’s pneumatic braking systems have to fail operational attributes, Daimler Truck’s Level 4 vehicles have an additional layer of electronic redundancy, using two electronic control units (ECU) – a primary and a secondary system. Together, they ensure full brake performance, to safely execute a minimal risk maneuver in case one system is not operating properly.

The same logic applies to the steering system that has been enhanced by having two servo motors. In case of an electronic or hydraulic failure, the backup servo motor also receives the requested steering angle from the autonomous driving system and can react accordingly.

Constant communication between these key systems ensures that there is no loss of critical information flow among the controllers. Daimler Truck has included a second communication network to key devices, which is also protected by cyber security requirements. As for the demanding power consumption by all the ECUs and sensors in an autonomous truck, a robust low voltage power net is required. Exclusively developed at DTNA, the power net system ensures constant energy flow to critical systems.

Scalable solution for Daimler Truck’s customers

In combination with third-party autonomous driving software, this redundant chassis offers customers full SAE Level 4 autonomous driving capabilities. As part of Daimler Truck’s dual-track strategy, the truck manufacturer is working together with two strong autonomous technology partners, Waymo Via and Torc Robotics, offering multiple routes to commercialization. Daimler Truck has the capability to tailor and scale the Level 4 truck chassis to the autonomous driving specifications of both technology partners.

Daimler Truck is in a market-leading position as demand grows – best testing conditions in the U.S.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics, the U.S. has seen the tonnage of goods shipped by trucks increase by 56 percent in the past decade. This number is expected to nearly double in the next two and a half decades. At the same time, the trucking industry faces a shortage of drivers.

These developments contribute to a growing need for safe, reliable, cost-effective trucking solutions. DTNA’s role as the U.S. market leader and as the innovation leader for the industry provides a unique position to safely develop and test automated truck technologies. Based in Portland, the team of experienced engineers at DTNA is responsible for developing, building, and releasing the Level 4 vehicle platform with redundant systems in close collaboration with their partners. DTNA already reached a critical milestone towards series production and delivered a first version of the redundant Freightliner Cascadia built for L4 readiness to Waymo for integration of the Waymo Driver.

Autonomous Technology Group – a global technology powerhouse for automated driving

Following the investment announcement in automated driving at the beginning of 2019, Daimler Truck established the Autonomous Technology Group. Daimler Truck’s global organization for automated truck driving brings together its worldwide experience and expertise.

The Group takes responsibility for the overall strategy and implementation of the automated driving roadmap, including research and development, testing and validation, and setting up the required operations infrastructure and network with the ultimate vision of series production of autonomous trucks (SAE level 4) within the decade. The Group has a global reach with experts working in various locations throughout the company’s worldwide development network.

The Working Group brings together the full value-chain of the PEI potato sector to exchange information, develop strategies to determine and help mitigate impacts of potato wart on the sector, and identify potential short and long-term solutions to current trade disruptions.

Its membership includes representatives from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, and Global Affairs Canada, as well as representatives from the Government of Prince Edward Island, the PEI Potato Board, PEI seed and fresh potato growers, and key potato processors.

During the meeting, the CFIA outlined the steps they are taking to gather the scientific evidence needed to assure their U.S. counterpart agency, the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), of the safety of trade of table and processing potatoes. The CFIA is aiming to conduct another round of technical discussions with APHIS next week.

The working group will continue to meet to assess the impacts on PEI potato farmers and those along the value chain and is expected to examine all options to find end-point destinations for the sale and further processing of the existing stock of potatoes in PEI, and other measures to support affected farmers. The Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, will attend the next meeting on Monday, November 29.

At the 2021 GIE+EXPO, John Deere celebrates 25 years of manufacturing its ZTrak commercial zero-turn mower lineup, commemorating a history of innovation and excellence that started in 1997 with the launch of the F620 and F680 zero-turn mowers. The brand continues to build on its commitment to effective and efficient commercial landscaping offerings with the recent launch of the Fastback PRO Rear-Discharge Mower Deck, offering time-saving solutions for professional landscapers. John Deere will continue to remain dedicated to offering customers solution-based designs that aid in increased performance and customer satisfaction.

“Ever since the first ZTrak zero-turn mower, Deere has kept the pedal down in terms of product improvements. For us, there’s always an improved model or attachment around the corner. This anniversary celebrates 25 years of providing value and innovative products to our customers. We are excited to continue developing and designing the most effective equipment solutions for years to come,”

said Nick Minas, go-to-market manager, John Deere.

John Deere prides itself on a strong network of dealerships, many of which have been an integral part of the quarter-century lifetime of the ZTrak lineup. Richard Miller, corporate sales manager for commercial and retail segments at TriGreen Equipment, celebrates this anniversary by reflecting on the past 25 years.

Miller said:

“In looking back at the last 25 years, we’ve come to realize how the zero-turns truly changed the commercial mowing business as a whole. From additions, like rollover protection devices, to the innovative Michelin X TWEEL TURF airless radial tires, we’ve seen great advancements since the mid-’90s, and John Deere has always been at the forefront.”

Jon Schebler, small ag, turf, and compact construction equipment sales manager for United Ag & Turf, reflected on this proud milestone by stating,

“One of our largest customers performs head-to-head comparisons of Deere equipment against other competitors in the areas of efficiency and cost of ownership, and every time, Deere excels. The ease of use, performance and cost of ownership combined to make this the best portfolio of zero-turns we have experienced.”

Deere continues to elevate its lineup of commercial mowing solutions by offering new enhancements and designs within its fleet. Along with the Fastback PRO Rear-Discharge Mower Deck, which provides customers with solutions to increase productivity and improve operator comfort, Deere offers programs and accessories, such as NEVERSTOP Services and Support and the latest ShadePro canopy. These expanded offerings showcase how Deere is always looking for ways to further enhance customer experience and equipment.

To commemorate the anniversary of the ZTrak, John Deere will feature a 25th-anniversary unit front and center at this year’s GIE+EXPO, with a special decal included on all MY2022 ZTrak Z900 Series units to highlight this tremendous milestone.

The production of e-waste is skyrocketing. Nearly 54 million tons of e-waste was discarded globally in 2019 —an amount that’s expected to increase to 74.7 million tons a year by 2030.

Sadly, less than 20% of e-waste is recycled annually.

How Hunter is Helping

At Hunter Industries, they’re striving to improve that figure by expanding our Irrigation Controller Recycling Program to customers nationwide.

Since launching our pilot program 2.5 years ago, we’ve recycled more than 12,000 lbs of controller e-waste through our partnership with nonprofit organization Blue Star Recyclers. We’ve also helped support their mission of creating jobs for people with autism and other disabilities through their recycling operations.

“Our partnership with Blue Star Recycling has allowed us to provide jobs for capable, yet often overlooked workers while doing our part to establish a healthier planet. By sharing our resources, we hope to encourage more businesses to ethically recycle as we work toward a more sustainable future,”

said Warren Gorowitz, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Hunter Industries.

How Customers Can Help

By getting involved, those who work in the irrigation industry can provide critical employment opportunities while keeping e-waste out of landfills through ethical recycling. Participation requires minimal effort and cost:

Sign up for a free Hunter Preferred Program (HPP) account.

Collect old irrigation controllers from customers and contractors.

Ship the collected controller e-waste to Blue Star Recyclers. Hunter Industries will pay the recycling fees!

For Gold and Platinum HPP members, the company will cover shipping fees too.

At Hunter Industries, they’re committed to creating a sustainable organization that achieves a balance between the people we serve, the planet we impact, and the profits we earn. This program is just one of the ways we’re striving to safeguard our world for future generations while caring for the global community and the people in it.

Ag equipment dealers, manufacturers, farmers to easily view ISOBUS compatible products across brands

The Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF) announced today it is introducing the updated AEF ISOBUS Database (DB) app to give agricultural equipment dealers, manufacturers, and end-users a convenient way to access its database, the only comprehensive repository of all ISOBUS compatible products in the world. Users may now easily drill down by brand, product, or ISOBUS functionality to confirm product compatibility while in the office or in the field, for free.

“With so many different manufacturers creating a wide scope of agricultural products around the world, when you start using different brands together, they are not always technologically compatible. However, when products all share the same ‘nerve system,’ more commonly known as the ‘ISOBUS,’ they communicate seamlessly. The AEF ISOBUS DB app identifies which products on the market are compatible and are ISOBUS-certified,”

said Andrew Olliver, Vice Chairman, AEF.

Through the AEF’s app, the agricultural equipment community may now look up a product’s ISOBUS compatibility, find information if a customer is having trouble in the field, research ISOBUS compatibility of new equipment and accessories, or identify ISOBUS functions. Information can be shared with others through the app using messaging tools such as WhatsApp or email.

Only products that are AEF ISOBUS certified are listed in the AEF ISOBUS Database. Currently, there are approximately 80 companies listing their certified ISOBUS products in the database, a number that keeps growing.

“This is an incredibly useful tool, especially for ag equipment dealers, when they have to advise their customers on their next ISOBUS equipment purchase. Dealers will find the app’s new module and option views essential,”

said Olliver.

In the app’s module view, users can view detailed information about ISOBUS products, such as the individual controllers to see exactly which functionality they support. This helps dealers make product recommendations, as well as diagnose service compatibility issues.

The options view provides the ability to view the compatibility of multiple product features.

Deutz has agreed to enter into a strategic alliance with Blue World Technologies. Blue World, which is based in Aalborg, Denmark, develops, manufactures, and sells fuel cell stacks, reformers, and systems. The collaboration is centered around an exclusive agreement for the distribution and service of stationary fuel cell gensets and sees DEUTZ take a 10 percent stake in Blue World after the due diligence process is finalized. This is expected for Q4 2021.

Blue World employs methanol as an energy source, from which it first generates hydrogen and then, in a second step, generates electrical energy in the fuel cell. Blue World is already developing stationary fuel cell-powered gensets today. In the future, Deutz expects that the fuel cell technology shall be used for mobile applications in the off-highway segment, too.

“By partnering with Blue World Technologies, Deutz is expanding its activities in the development of climate-neutral drive systems,”

says Dr. Frank Hiller, CEO of Deutz AG.

The two companies are initially signing a distribution agreement that will allow Deutz to sell the Blue World stationary fuel cell genset exclusively.

Dr. Frank Hiller:

“In the business with gensets, we see an exceptionally attractive market that we are looking to tap into together with Blue World. Genset users are now expecting zero-emission, climate-neutral technology for their applications too. Fuel cells that run on ‘green’ methanol provide an ideal solution here. Deutz is thus making further headway with new technologies that will move it beyond the conventional engine to offer climate-neutral solutions even for the off-highway segment and stationary applications.”

Deutz only very recently presented the TCG 7.8 H2 hydrogen engine, with which the Company is adding to its portfolio of low-emission and zero-emission drive systems. The engine meets the carbon criteria set by the EU for zero emissions.

“We are very excited about this partnership with Deutz. It means we will be able to work with one of the world’s leading developers and manufacturers of engines on the joint development and distribution of our fuel cell technology. Deutz’s investment is also giving us a boost ahead of our planned public listing, and our partnership with Deutz will be a major contribution towards meeting our mutual goals,”

states Anders Korsgaard, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blue World Technologies, and continues:

“Furthermore, we are happy to announce that Vaekstfonden, the Danish Growth Fund, also expects to take a significant stake in Blue World Technologies. We have a strong relationship with Vaekstfonden and with these two strategic partners on board, we can speed up the process of building one of the largest fuel-cell factories in Europe to meet customer demand.”

Continental will celebrate its 150th company anniversary. Since its foundation in Hanover, Germany, in 1871 Continental has been developing pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods. From a small factory in Hanover, the company has developed into one of the global players in the automotive industry, which is now operating in 58 countries and markets.

Continental is the oldest independent and also one of the largest tire manufacturers in the world. Over the past 150 years, the company has set standards in the tire industry with its pioneering spirit and innovative strength.

Time and again, it was Continental’s engineers who, with their ground-breaking inventions, ensured that tires became safer, more efficient, and sustainable. Milestones in Continental’s tire development include the first treaded tire, the first tire with a detachable rim, the patent for the world’s first tubeless tire, and, with its “all-terrain” model, the first dedicated winter tire. Likewise, the first pneumatic tractor tire came from Continental.

Later came the first rolling resistance-optimized tire and the first production tire to feature a tread made of dandelion rubber. Continental is also one of the pioneers in the field of digitalization. As early as 1999 the tire manufacturer demonstrated that the data required for advanced driver assistance systems can be determined even more accurately and quickly if the tire is used as a data source.

This was the birth of the intelligent tire. Meanwhile, Continental is connecting its tires and their sensors to the cloud and offering its customers completely new, smart, and digital tire solutions and services.

“Tires are our passion. Our technological excellence has ensured safety, reliability, and sustainability for 150 years. We are proud of this. Many of today’s technology standards in tires come from Continental. Time and time again, we push the boundaries of what is possible. Our goal is to produce our entire product portfolio exclusively from sustainable materials in a climate-neutral way by 2050 at the latest,”

said Christian Kötz, Head of the Tires business area and member of the executive board of Continental.

Continental’s roots go back to the early days of the founding era. On October 8th, 1871, the “Continental-Caoutchouc- & Gutta-Percha-Compagnie” was incorporated. The product range initially included a variety of rubber products, such as toy balls, rubber mats, roller coverings, rubberized fabrics or balloons, and solid tires for carriages and bicycles. When the bicycle began its worldwide career in 1892 with freewheel and coaster brake, Continental was the first German company to produce pneumatic bicycle tires, and hence “pneumatics” soon became a household word.

A short time later, in 1898, the production of pneumatic tires for cars also began. The first pneumatics was still treadless and had comparatively limited handling characteristics by today’s standards, especially on wet or wintry roads. All tire manufacturers were looking for solutions to the sliding susceptibility of their products – until Continental presented the world’s first car tire with a tread in 1904.

Dynamic driving simulator: The life-size cabin adds to the immersive driving experience, allowing test drivers to react and respond as they would in a real vehicle.

Industrialization and mobility needs as early drivers of innovation

The triumph of individual mobility and advancing industrialization demanded tire products forever new fields of application. In addition to safety, the theme of comfort also increasingly became the focus of attention.

In 1908 Continental engineers caused a worldwide sensation with the invention of the detachable rim, which made the wheel and tire mounting much easier. To mark its 50th anniversary, Continental was the first German company to launch large tires for commercial vehicles on the market. In 1928 tires for agricultural tractors and tractor units were manufactured for the first time.

The T2 agricultural tractor tire was the first pneumatic agricultural tire in Europe. In the industrial sector, Continental revolutionized the segment of solid tires, which are used on forklift trucks, airport vehicles, and other heavy-duty industrial applications. Introduced in 1932, the great success of the ContiSuperElastic solid rubber tire led to the abbreviation for this category that is customary in the industry today: CSE.

Another milestone in the industrial history of the 20th century is the first tire made of synthetic rubber, which rolled out of Continental’s factory hall in 1936. Under the effects of the shortage economy during the war years, the tire manufacturer launched the first research series to obtain rubber from Russian dandelions. A project that was taken up again in 2011 and has been successfully driven forward since then. The “Urban Taraxagum” bicycle tire is Continental’s first tire made in series production using rubber from dandelions.

In 1943 Continental filed a patent application for the tubeless tire. An invention that significantly improved the rolling resistance of tires and became a common technological principle in the post-war period and still is today. Continental first enabled particularly safe driving in winter in 1934 with its “all-terrain” model, its first dedicated tire designed for snow, and thus its first winter tire. In 1953 Continental crossed the snowy St. Gotthard Pass in Switzerland with its M+S tires (mud and snow) under notarial supervision, successfully completing the first winter tire test in history.

Safety and comfort were already drivers of technological excellence at the beginning of the 20th century – in 1908, Continental developed the detachable rim and made wheel and tire mounting much easier.

Intensive testing enables safety – in city traffic or when driving under extreme conditions

Before a new tire from Continental is launched on the market, it has to successfully pass a wide range of tests, be it technical innovations in the passenger car, truck, or special tire sector. In total, new tire models cover 25 million test kilometers each year before the actual start of production. The enormous effort is justified. Because it is the foundation for the product quality of the tire manufacturer from Hanover, for all applications – even under extreme conditions. In 2003 Continental became the only supplier of a production tire with a permissible maximum speed of up to 360 km/h with the ContiSportContact Vmax. In 2007 the ContiSportContact Vmax was the first tire to be entered in the Guinness Book of Records and was the first choice for numerous record-breaking races of well-known tuners.

For the testing of tires and all conceivable conditions, the company maintains state-of-the-art tire testing facilities worldwide. The Contidrom near Hanover, the “prototype” and reference of all Continental tire test centers, was opened in 1967.

As early as 1968 the first electronically controlled driverless car took to the track at the Contidrom, to the astonishment of the press and public. Continental has further developed this technology and now uses it at its test site in Uvalde, Texas, USA, to subject its tires to endurance tests.

In 2012 the Automated Indoor Braking Analyser (AIBA) was officially opened at the Contidrom test site. This facility, which is the only one of its kind in the world, enables the brake performance of tires on different road surfaces to be tested all year round, regardless of the weather, and fully automatically using unmanned vehicles. In the future, tires will also be tested there is a new type of dynamic driving simulator.

Thus, professional test drivers will also be carrying out realistic driving scenarios virtually. Having each test cycle completed in the driving simulator instead of on real roadways means fewer test tires need to be produced. Hence, this investment in the new testing technology also contributes to Continental’s extensive sustainability efforts.

Resource awareness as an early driver of technological excellence

Continental has been committed to greater sustainability in the tire and automotive industry since the early seventies of the last century. The effects of the oil crisis in 1973 provided the impetus for a research project to develop tires with optimized rolling resistance.

The insights gained in this project ultimately led to the presentation of a previously unprecedented product in 1993. For the first time, a tire in the ContiEcoContact combined environmental benefits and economic aspects with outstanding driving and safety characteristics.

Since then Continental has been facing major challenges in dealing with finite raw materials and the need to reduce CO2 emissions. For many years now sustainable and responsible management has been an integral part of Continental’s corporate strategy. Efforts here are centered around the strategic topics of climate action, low-emission mobility, the circular economy, and sustainable supply chains, thus embracing all phases of the value chain.

As early as 1903, a branch plant was set up in Seelze near Hanover for the reprocessing and recycling of rubber scrap. In 2013, Continental opened its unique ContiLifeCycle plant in Hanover Stöcken. With its integrated approach to retreading for truck and bus tires and a specially developed industrial-scale rubber recycling plant, it is an industry pioneer.

In order to make the tires of the future even more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly in terms of production, use, and recyclability, the company is systematically investing in the research and development of new technologies, alternative materials, and environmentally compatible production processes. For example, the tire manufacturer intends to gradually switch to 100 percent sustainably produced materials in its tire products by 2050.

Sensor technology and digitalization enable innovative tire solutions and services

Continental is also one of the pioneers when it comes to the digitalization of tires. As early as 1999, the tire manufacturer demonstrated that the data required for advanced driver assistance systems could be determined even more accurately and quickly by using the tire as a data source. That was the birth of the intelligent tire.

Since then Continental has continued to drive forward the digitalization of tires, enabling completely new services for fleet and end customers. Since 2010 Continental has bundled all services for fleet customers under the umbrella of its brand Conti360° Fleet Services. From the recommendation and perfect selection of the right tires to correct mounting and quick assistance in the event of a flat tire to constant inspection and comprehensive tire reports for all their vehicles, the fleet operators receive a highly professional all-around tire service.

The company is continuing to expand the ecosystem of smart, digital solutions for Continental’s premium tires that have been created in the meantime. As one of the world’s largest suppliers of electronics, sensor systems, and software in the mobility industry, Continental has a decisive competitive advantage here.

For example, Continental’s ability to allow the tire to communicate with other safety-related components as a central element in the vehicle system led to a ground-breaking project back at the beginning of the millennium: the 30-meter car.

The coordination of all systems involved in the braking operation resulted in a vehicle that came to a standstill after only 30 meters with full braking at 100 km/h. At that time the average braking distance was still between 36 and 40 meters. This corresponded to shortening the braking distance by up to 25 percent.

Today, Continental is using the direct connection of its tires and sensors to the cloud to offer completely new business models. Fed by a large number of data points, Continental’s fleet customers can check the condition of their tires at any time using algorithms developed in-house.

This means that tire maintenance can be carried out on an as-needed basis, not as a preventive measure, and thus much more efficiently. Fleet providers thus benefit from minimized downtime due to repairs, increased safety, lower overall costs due to greater energy efficiency, and generally more efficient operation. In 2020, Continental set new standards with the presentation of its successful pilot project for significantly accurate tread depth monitoring using algorithms and vehicle telemetry data.

In the future, Continental will continue to stand for innovative excellence in tire technology with its premium portfolio in the passenger car, truck, and special tire segments. In its new strategy program presented in 2020, Continental describes its path into the new decade. The focus of the Vision 2030 strategy program is the consistently customer-centric orientation of the organization and all business activities. In addition, the tire sector aims to continue to grow profitably and differentiate itself from its competitors in a rapidly changing market environment in the areas of sustainability and digital solutions.

Through this partnership, both companies plan to further educate and protect the agricultural, industrial, outdoor power, and forestry industries from detrimental cybersecurity hacks.

Secuvant announced it has entered into a partnership with the Western Equipment Dealers Association (WEDA). This partnership aims to provide white-glove services, unparalleled cybersecurity resources, and expert industry insight to help protect WEDA members who operate in the agricultural, industrial, outdoor power and forestry industries from cybersecurity attacks.

The partnership comes at a vital time where nearly every industry uses technology to make its operations more efficient. However, newfound technology and advancements also create a target for cybercrimes within vulnerable industries, which includes the equipment industry. Through a combined effort that uses Secuvant’s cybersecurity experts and WEDA’s profound list of industry members, this partnership will help further protect WEDA members, their employees, and their customers as these operations become more reliant on digitized data.

“Due to the increasing supply chain demand, the equipment industry has had to prioritize production before anything else, including protecting themselves from cyberattacks. While technology is able to help make the supply chain demands feasible, it, unfortunately, comes at a price. Organizations large and small must understand the importance of cybersecurity because a simple attack can bring down a company in seconds. We plan to use this partnership with WEDA to further educate businesses in the agriculture, industrial, outdoor power, and forestry spaces on the importance of having a cybersecurity partner, ways they can protect their businesses from attacks, and more. This is the type of partnership that can not only improve businesses but protect the country’s major supply chains as well,”

said Secuvant Founder and CEO, Ryan Layton.

The partnership with WEDA is further evidence of Secuvant becoming a global leader in providing strategic, white-glove security services to targeted markets and industries globally. By leveraging a partnership such as this, Secuvant is able to more deeply engage in building stronger business relationships with clients and focus extensively on meaningful, value-added security services that reduce risk.

Jim Walker, Secuvant’s agriculture and construction expert commented:

“There are more than two million farms in the United States alone, and we have found that most dealers do not have the knowledge or tools to implement cybersecurity. Through this partnership, we are able to ultimately help protect North American dealers from suffering from a severe supply chain or business disruptions due to a cyberattack and help educate the industry on vulnerabilities.”

“Our association is taking a proactive approach in assisting our members with their cybersecurity concerns.
