The G135 was considered by the jury to be particularly innovative in the field of design, to stand out from the crowd and to support the Valtra brand. The Valtra G Series is a little giant, a compact multipurpose tractor that can be operated comfortably while performing tasks effortlessly. The G Series combines a compact size with agility and a modern design. The G Series is also the perfect tractor for front-loader tasks. The tractor’s ease of use also received a lot of praise from the jury.

“It was also particularly nice that the jury praised not only the successful and unique design of the G Series, but also its functionality. These are ultimately work machines, and we really focus a lot of attention on usability and work efficiency, which also have a big impact on the daily lives and work of our customers. For example, the very low engine cover, the narrow front frame, the large panorama window and the easy-to-use interface are not just design considerations. Above all, they contribute towards an agile, compact and productive front-loader tractor,”

Wihinen says, emphasising the importance of design.

Immediately after its launch in 2020, the G Series was awarded the title Tractor of the Year 2021. The tractor’s cab features other award-winning design in the form of the Valtra SmartTouch armrest, which was previously honoured with the Red Dot Design Award and iF Design Award.

Winners of the iF Design Award are chosen by an international jury of 98 high profile design experts. This year’s competition attracted 9509 entries from 52 countries.
