The supply agreement includes engines in both the sub-4 liter as well as the above-4 liter range. In addition to the supply of Deutz TCD 4.1, 6.1, and 7.8 engines, SDF will also be introducing a completely new tractor range equipped with the EU Stage V compliant Deutz TCD 3.6 engine in 2021. On the service side, there are new business opportunities, including the availability of X-change. The new collaboration is expected to generate annual sales in the mid-double-digit million Euro range.

Cleaning

The turbine works in conjunction with the double step system to clean enormous quantities of crops; while the crop is fed back to the grain pan for maximum grain protection without overloading the threshing system. Grain pan
The very long grain pan moves with a reciprocating motion to ensure the perfect stratification of the chaff and straw. As these two components are lighter than the grain, they are blown away immediately upon contact with the airflow produced by the turbo-ventilator, for more effective cleaning of the finished product. The grain pan is easily removable from the combine harvester, minimizing maintenance times and simplifying the operations needed to reconfigure the machine for a different crop.

Harvest Transport

The grain tank of C9000 Series machines have a 10,500-liter capacity and is emptied with an extraordinarily high speed discharging system, thanks to dual augers that double the output speed and once emptied, reverse, which prevents crop spilling, eliminating time waste and lost productivity.
The level in the tank can be observed via a window in the cab, while the sample may be checked via an external grain hatch.
Indicator light and an audible warning signal activated by two sensors in the tank inform the driver that the tank is full and that it is necessary to start the discharge procedure.

The discharge pipe has a capacity of the 120 lt/sec, ensuring the tank is emptied extremely quickly and with up to a 6.0m discharge pipe, all challenges are taken care of.
Measuring 6 meters in length and with a generous 110 degrees of mobility, the discharge pipe means the operator has a clear view of the discharge outlet at all times.
The aperture and closer of the discharge pipe is to be controlled easily from the cab via the Commander Stick.

Straw management

The long straw is treated carefully by the threshing system and the straw-walkers are discharged in large swaths in perfect condition. The C9300 Series has a wide and direct opening just under the straw-walkers to ensure the straw runs as straight as possible.

The integrated straw chopper is equipped with a rotor with 48 cutter blades arranged in four rows: This configuration produces an airflow that spreads material uniformly over the entire surface of the cutter bars and may be adjusted with manually controlled deflectors (electrical adjustment system available as an option).
The position of the counter-blade is adjustable to obtain the degree of chopping required, while the system may be set to thresh even very heavy crops by simply changing two pulleys, without requiring additional reduction gears.

Engine hydraulic transmission

The engine of a combine harvester must not only be powerful enough to meet the performance and functional requisites for the machine itself but also to operate supplementary equipment and optional implements such as straw choppers, corn cutting heads, stalk cutters, etc.
It must also ensure an adequate torque reserve to ensure dependable operation even in demanding conditions with no loss in threshing system speed.
The new models of the C9000 range reach unparalleled levels of performance with minimal environmental impact.
The 7.7 liter Mercedes-Benz OM936 engine produces up to 381 HP.

Cab

Clear, simple, and always updated, the new iMonitor defines a new era in combined management. User-friendly philosophy to easily identify the right page and convenient short-cuts to jump from one page to the other quickly and without stopping harvesting. Intuitive setting of the parameters thanks to the touch-screen number pad. The street page is displaying mainly speed and vehicle-related information. The field page shows the status and performance of the combine while harvesting. The adjustments are made precisely with easy to read parameters system. A brand new cutting header page allows the user to control and adjust all relevant settings in one shot.

DEUTZ-FAHR has now become the first tractor constructor to attain official AEF certification for the Tractor Implement Management (TIM) system.

This certifies the capability of DEUTZ-FAHR tractors to communicate with any mounted tool with TIM certification in accordance with a standardised protocol.  The communication of data between the tractor and the the implement is two-way: this means that the implement automatically manages certain tractor functions and operating parameters, such as ground speed and distributor, lift and PTO shaft operation.

The result of this automation is an improvement in efficiency and productivity. It also makes the work of the operator significantly easier, as the TIM system carries out these functions with no operator involvement.

The consolidated FARMotion three-cylinder engines with 2,000 bar common rail injection, turbo intercooler, external exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), gas post-treatment catalyst (DOC), compact radiator, viscostatic fan and PowerCore air filter guarantee delivery of reduced power and consumption.

The new models have a mechanical shuttle. You can have two versions: 15 + 15 or 30 + 15 reports. Both transmissions are in ECO version with reduced engine revs, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 40 km / h at just 1,870 rpm (with 420/70 R30 tires). This not only saves fuel but also reduces the noise level further.

For maximum safety, all 5D Keyline models are equipped with oil-immersed disc brakes on the front axle. The front axles with 55 ° steering angle have been developed specifically by DEUTZ-FAHR for this power class and have a maximum permissible load of 2,300 kg. All-wheel drive and differential lock (100%) can be inserted electro-hydraulically.

The hydraulic system has been perfectly calibrated for the versatile range of applications in the 5D Keyline series. A 50 l / m OpenCenter hydraulic pump feeds up to three double-acting rear mechanical distributors. The rear lifts have a maximum capacity of up to 3,500 kg.

There are three PTO configurations available: 540/540 ECO, 540/540 ECO / 1000 or PTO 540/540 ECO and synchro.

The spacious cabin mounted on the Silent-Block has easily accessible and clearly identified control elements identified by the now known color logic; a clear display integrated in the steering column and the widely adjustable operator seat with suspension ensure practicality and comfort at the highest levels both during work and driving. Farmers can choose between three roof versions, depending on their needs: closed or with FOPS glass or polycarbonate hatch.

With the new models of the 5D Keyline series, DEUTZ-FAHR once again confirms its leadership in the low-power segment and offers a compact and economical tractor for the various applications.
