The system uses three ultrasonic sensors to control left and right-hand boom wings independently for ultimate guidance in the most challenging field conditions. It can deliver positive and negative lateral movement on each side of the boom to follow the contours in every condition!

Boom Guide ProActive (3 sensors)

This advanced system proactively reacts to boom movement and controls both the central and independent slope correction, as well as boom lift functions to guide the boom over the crop canopy, soil surface, or a combination of both modes.

Boom Guide ProActive (5/3 sensors)

Boom Guide ProActive can be equipped with 5 sensors for the full spray boom width and only be using 3 sensors when the boom is symmetrically reduced for a smaller working width.

The Boom Guide systems as described above are available on the iXtrack T trailed sprayer range and the iXdrive S6 self-propelled sprayer range.

ISO Planter Control for 2000 series Early Riser planters

Now available for 2000 series Early Riser planters, Case IH ISO Planter Control gives operators the ability to view high-resolution as-applied planting data in real-time — all from one integrated display that is easy to navigate and customize. Plus, with the AFS Pro 1200 display, the technology delivers complete in-cab planter control, which can interact with multiple implements and machines, regardless of manufacturer.

“We’re increasingly hearing how operators with mixed-brand fleets need the ability to control and adjust their 2000 Early Riser planter from any tractor. This ISOBUS-compatible display delivers that solution, along with the simple plug-and-play operation. ISO Planter Control is seamlessly integrated into the cab with a single display to simplify operation and minimize cab clutter,”

With a user-friendly interface, operators can view enhanced as-applied planting data along with grill-to-press-wheel graphics — all made possible by the VisionPro operating system. Run screens can be configured to display coverage, varieties, planter ride, spacing, ground contact, skips, and more. Plus, with six customizable windows and split-screen capabilities, operators can view the information that’s most important to their operation — even while performing another function on the display.

Operators will appreciate a simple run-screen that they can customize to match their needs — and with ISO compatibility, they can easily plug into any tractor and go,”

Brennan said.

With ISO Planter Control and the AFS Pro 1200 display, farm managers gain important agronomic insights with the ability to view as-applied field maps — down to the row level — in the AFS Connect Farm platform on web and mobile. Plus, planter data can easily be shared with trusted agronomic partners for additional analysis.

New configurations for the FA 1030 air boom applicator

To help operators cover more ground in less time, Case IH is adding a new 90-ft. boom option — now the widest boom configuration available — for the FA 1030 air boom applicator. Plus, the FA 1030 is now available for either the Titan 3540 or 4540 floater models, giving customers the choice of either 3- or 4-wheel configurations. Case IH added the FA 1030 air boom applicator to the lineup in August 2020.

“The FA 1030 air boom applicator is helping operators get more done in tight windows and challenging conditions — and these new configurations and options will help them better optimize their productivity. The new 90-ft. boom option paired with 320 cubic feet of struck capacity enables operators to make the most of their time in the field,”

The FA 1030 also offers variable-rate product application and left/right boom section control to further optimize product delivery. Operators can select from a range of bin options, including single-, double- and triple-bin configurations. The ability to configure the FA 1030 to spread up to three products and up to 1,200 pounds per acre of total product at 10 mph maximizes field efficiency.

IntelliTrack

IntelliTrack is a high-end steering drawbar concept combining the advantages of an excellently designed chassis with the use of advanced electronics. The tracking concept is easy to connect and operate, ensuring safe tracking even in difficult field conditions. IntelliTrack has an integrated safety feature which prevents the cylinders from steering the drawbar when the driving speed is too high for the given track width.

DynamicFluid4

The DynamicFluid4 system will calculate the consequences of increased RPM and make the regulation instantly. The DynamicFluid4 property of pro-acting is based on 4 sensors in the fluid system measuring RPM, the position of regulation valves, flow and pressure. Combined with specific new software and a new, unique ceramic regulation valve, DynamicFluid4 is offering precision in the application rate giving the best performance available on the market.

The sensors of DynamicFluid4 each have their individual task, but they will also work as a backup for each other, and the regulation will continue. Regulation can be done manually.

Boom management system

The Hardi AutoSlant, AutoHeight and AutoTerrain systems will automatically control the boom. This makes the job much easier for the driver, and the result will be a better spray application.

The system is known for the following features:

• Robust and precise ultrasonic sensors
• Option to choose between soil, crop or hybrid mode
• Proportional valve for smooth movements (AutoHeight, AutoTerrain)
• Slant, tilt and height correction (AutoHeight, AutoTerrain)
• Slant and height correction (AutoSlant)

AutoTerrain works and reacts on both boom movements and twisting forces on the boom. This allows the system to be proactive and react to the cause more than on the symptom.

Delta Force boom – Compact in transport – wide in the field

Delta Force is designed to be a large boom.  The selection of features and the layout of the boom structure are targeted to perform at high driving speed and high performance at boom widths of 24-39 m. The result is a boom with many simple and strong solutions which together give a high-performing and reliable boom with a simple setup, low maintenance and a great design.

A very advanced, but yet simple centre part controls the movements of the Delta Fore boom. The five pendulum settings allow adjusting the boom performance, either to a pendulum, which follows the sprayer movements or to follow the level of the terrain.

AutoSelect – Change nozzles “on the go”

With AutoSelect you have the possibility to change between 4 functions:

• Spray with nozzle A
• Spray with nozzle B
• Spray with nozzle A and B
• Auto mode – here AutoSelect can work with pre-defined pressure settings or working speeds.

Excellent at speed changes

If you need to run with big changes in speed, AutoSelect can automatically, and instantly change between two sizes of nozzles, so one nozzles work can be taken over by a larger nozzle, at higher speeds. This will result in a higher droplet quality and a better application. 

Change of dose during the spray job

If you need to change dose in the field, this can be done by changing to a more suited nozzle on the go – without compromising the spray quality. You have the possibility to use 9 to 13 sections and maximum 8 nozzles per section. AutoSelect works with air pressure, if you have a pneumatic brake system on your tractor your air source is already provided. If not, an air compressor is available as an option.

Delta Force – 25 cm Nozzle space

The main argument for a distance of 25 cm is to reduce the height of the boom to 30 cm and to reduce the potential for spray drift. The low boom height requires a good boom management system. The best system on the market is the Delta Force boom series along with Hardi AutoTerrain. The other advantage is a smaller nozzle VMD (volume median diameter) which increases the coverage.
