Each year, the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) honor the 50 most important innovations. This year, for the first time, the awards were presented virtually at the Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference. The event normally takes place in Louisville, Ky., annually.

Awards for two Fendt tractors

The Fendt 700 and the Fendt 1100 Vario MT tracked tractor were introduced to American farmers during a virtual show in late summer 2020.The Fendt 700 Vario series features the new FendtONE operating philosophy and, suitable for the North American market, can also be used with the 60-inch track width for row-crop applications.

The Fendt 1167 Vario MT is the highest horsepower tracked tractor with a continuously variable transmission on the market.

The smart technology Fendt Variotronic Turn Assistant is part of the Fendt TI Headland complete package for professional headland work and available for the Fendt 1100 Vario MT. The Variotronic Turn Assistant automatically adds the automatic turn function to the Variotronic headland management system included in the Fendt TI Headland.

Fendt Momentum awarded for precision and machine power

The highly precise Fendt MOMENTUM precision planter was presented to the public for the first time 2019 in Brazil. In 2020, a version specifically for the regions of North America and Eastern Europa was introduced. Farmers were able to see the Fendt MOMENTUM in direct field use during a crop tour last year. With the precision planter, Fendt is expanding its full-line program with high-quality and innovative seeding technology for the global market.

AE50 Award for Fendt Idealdrive

The latest feature of the Fendt IDEAL 10 large combine model, the innovative Fendt IDEALdrive joystick control system, received the prestigious award.

“The Fendt IDEAL has successfully established itself on the American market. Operating the combine with the joystick on the left armrest allows a direct view onto the cutting unit and the feeder of the inclined main crop elevator because the central steering tower is eliminated. This is unique on the market”

DynaFlex cutting unit with AutoDock System receives Davidson Prize

The DynaFlex cutting unit with AutoDock system is part of AGCO’s cutterbar line for the Fendt IDEAL and is offered on the North American market. The system automatically couples all mechanical, electronic and hydraulic connections of the cutterbar to the Fendt IDEAL combine.
