Kubota Canada Limited (KCL) announced that it is furthering its commitment to the hay and forage segment by offering a two-year standard limited warranty across its comprehensive hay tools line, including Kubota balers, rakes, and tedders, and a three-year standard limited warranty on the cutter bars and gearboxes of its entire range of disc mowers and disc mower conditioners. These new warranty programs are now available.
Yannick Montagano, Vice President Sales, Marketing, Service and Engineering for Kubota Canada Ltd., said:
“Kubota is raising the bar in the agricultural equipment market with its new warranty offering. We know farmers face many challenges, but the equipment should not be one of them. We are committed to the long-term success of our customers. We are confident in the quality of our products and we are backing that assurance with longer warranty terms.”

Hay Tools Heritage of Innovation and Quality
Kubota’s hay tools are built on a long legacy of ground-breaking agriculture innovation that has been tested and proven in the hay and forage market for more than 100 years. Early inventions by Vicon and Kverneland in the 1900s, from the finger wheel rake in 1949 to the first rotary tedder in 1961 and the first disc mower conditioner combination in 1974 – are now all under the Kubota brand, designed, engineered, and built by Kubota.
KCL completed the acquisition of the Kverneland Group in 2013, which helped make the first phase of Kubota’s entry in hay implements possible. In 2015, Kubota introduced round balers and disc mower conditioners, as well as expanded offerings in the disc mower, rake, and tedder lines. In 2016 and 2017, the company launched additional disc mowers, disc mower conditioners, rakes, and variances to its round baler line.
Growing with Farmers into the Future
Not only has Kubota grown its product lines, but the company is also growing its presence, too. In recent years, Kubota has been on an aggressive North American growth strategy to strengthen its position in the agricultural marketplace and respond to increased demand for its products. For example, in late September, Kubota Manufacturing of America broke ground on a new Research & Development center in Gainesville, Georgia. In August, the company announced an expansion underway at Great Plains Manufacturing in Kansas to increase production capacity for Kubota equipment.
Last year, the company opened its dedicated North American Distribution Centre, also in Kansas and KCL is also building a new distribution facility and corporate headquarters in Pickering, Ontario. Along with expanding the company’s facilities and parts distribution centers, Kubota is also growing its team of product experts to better respond to customers’ needs. Kubota offers a wide range of hay tools from disc mowers, disc mower conditioners, tedders, and rakes, to balers and wrappers – all supported by authorized Kubota dealers across Canada.
