GK Machine sponsored the annual Sprayer Continuing Education Workshop for customers who hold a sprayers license with the State of Oregon, Department of Agriculture. Spray license holders are required to complete a number of continuing education hours each year.
This year’s workshop was conducted by Mike Powers of Teejet Technologies. Along with technical education, there was a hands-on demonstration which covered the fundamental principles related to proper calibration, maximizing spray coverage and reducing off-target drift. Growers have a chance to conduct a calibration exercise to visually see how to increase efficiency of the spraying process.
