In spring 2019, Lozova Machinery demonstrated its equipment on fields in Eastern Canada, in Ontario and Quebec in particular. It showed disc harrows: Ducat 3 and Ducat 6 with a working width 3 and 6 meters respectively.
Farmers from Ontario and Quebec admit a high quality of Ducat disc harrows, ease of setup and operating, as well as recognize an amazing job done by the machines.
«Ducat showed excellent results in just one pass. The disc harrow easily completed the incorporation of organic matter and large-sized crops residues about 40 cm high (1-1/2’)», – comments John Kerr, one of the farmers in Ottawa (Ontario), who used DUCAT-3 in his farm.
The harrows have once again confirmed their technical characteristics, demonstrating outstanding fuel economy and tilling efficiency. The machinery performed well on various soils, including light sandy and heavy clayed soils.
Canadian farmers noted the high productivity of Ducat – up to 7.8 ha/h (19 acre/h), the exact tilling depth based on a farmer’s requirements, which can be from 3 to 14 cm (1.2”-5.5”), proper mulching, and an amazing crop residue management done by the disc., as well as highlighted the ease to operate and setup the discs.
Lozova Machinery offers 5 different types of rollers which can be ordered with Ducat disc harrow. It provides you with the versatility and possibilities to use Ducat in various field conditions and on different soil types.
Lozova Machinery is confidently expanding into the North American continent. The Ukrainian brand will continue to offer its machinery to Canadian farmers. The next big event for Lozova machinery is the largest outdoor farm trade show Ag in Motion in Western Canada (Saskatoon, July 16-18).
